Wendnesday Trendsday

Neiman Marcus fashion Director, Downing, has made up a list of the hottest trends coming for 2014, and we are going to be showing them off every Wednesday. Get ready to shop!

Week One: Think Pink

One of the major standout trends is Pink. From couture to casual, designers have given us a lot to love.

Here we have a bold pink dress, that has the hint of classic Chanel that we love. This dress has the structure, and the modesty, all the things we want from a Chanel piece, and with pink sneakers. Let's hope this trend picks up because I would love to wear this to work.
This blush color is so soft and delicate on its own, but Dior has it made into a beautiful ruffle gown that just looks classy and edgy at the same time. Maybe its the 90s cut of the dress? Maybe its because it reminds me of a bandage dress? Don't know, don't care. Love it.
Ellie Saab
The sheer bottom half trend came upon us last year and it has only gotten more popular. Ellis Saab has taken the exposed skirt and mixed it with the blush pink trends to create this soft yet sexy couture lace gown. And its just plain wonderful.
Couture gowns featuring pink this year covered a range of looks from soft and dainty to bold and bright. This Schiaparelli gown takes the cake for number of heads turned.

Work Attire
For the casual woman, pink is a perfect way to brighten up your work wardrobe. Although it may seem cliché, pink is so hot right now, so go for it. (Photo credit: Pinterest)
Ted Baker
Hello, beautiful. This blush pink peplum coat by Ted Baker is gorgeous with distressed jeans and silver heels. I would wear this every single day.
Chanel (yes, again)
We cannot wait for things to warm up so that this dress can have it's day. Its large tweed print with lots of colors is anything but subtle. And we love anything that goes with a hot pink Chanel double flap. We are having major spring fever for this outfit.
If you're on the fence about the pink trend, start out slow. Go for a rose colored item piece that looks very professional, and still very chic.
